2-Day Fly Tour

For those who are short on time but don’t want to miss a moment of the action. With 4 passengers per departure, you’ll travel in a small, personal group where everyone is guaranteed a window seat. From the air you’ll take in sweeping views of the lake, while on the ground you’ll touch down in remote towns that capture the spirit of the outback

Departures are from Adelaide Airport on Saturday morning. $4,450 per person

Day One

Board your early 7:00am flight from Adelaide to Olympic Dam. On arrival at approximately 8.00am, you’ll have a short break to stretch your legs before boarding your plane that will be waiting for you on the tarmac.  Departing Olympic Dam, you’ll fly up towards Lake Eyre, taking in views over the mysterious Marree Man, over Lake Eyre, then following the Warburton River, before it spreads out into the spectacular Goyders Lagoon, and onto Birdsville for lunch and a look around town. Back in the plane, where you may see pelicans galore over the Coongie Lakes, then landing at Innamincka for a well deserved rest at your first night accommodation.

Day Two

Innamincka to Adelaide - A Spectacular Day Over the Outback

You’ll wake up to an outback sunrise and a hearty breakfast in Innamincka before boaring your plane for a short flight out to The Famous “Dig Tree”, (weather permitting and learn of the il-fated of Burke and Wills expedition.

Your journey continues with a low-level flight along Cooper Creek, past the Birdsville Track punt crossing and then soar once more over Lake Eyre’s expanse of water.

After a late lunch in William Creek, you'll head to the Painted Hills for a breathtaking aerial view. Weather permitting, you'll also land for a short walk to discover the spectacular colours up close.

From there, you’ll fly on to Olympic Dam before returning to Adelaide Airport by evening.
