DAY 2 – Coober Pedy to William Creek

Breakfast in your room, and then to a morning tour at Umoona mines, and a chance to buy some Opals from the Opal capital of the world.

After our tour, we do a tour of the township of Coober Pedy, and a short drive out to the amazing colours of the desert scenery, "The Break-aways"

Lunch in town, and then a 2hr drive out to William creek, which is on the largest cattle station in the world, where we board our plane for our 2hr flight over the great Lake Eyre.

Overnight at William creek, and dinner in one of the great outback pubs.
